Margaret P. Scott’s experience:
Margaret started as a licensed Realtor® in 1996 working for Frontier Better Homes and Gardens (1996 to 2000). Margaret focused on helping move people from unsuitable housing to homeownership.
In 2000 Margaret moved her license to Keller Williams Real Estate, LLC. (2000 to 2011). From the education and training she received she created a mentoring program for an office of approximately 300 agents. In 2005 while still working under Keller Williams Real Estate, LLC she opened her own office in Castle Rock CO. She hired 75 agents the first year and continued to have a profitable office until 2010 when the economy forced the profits to decline.
In 2011 she sold her KW ownership and moved to Cherry Creek Properties, LLC. (2011 to 2016). While working for Cherry Creek Properties, LLC she was hired as the Regional Managing Director. The position of the Regional Managing Director was to grow the agent count and open offices throughout the State of Colorado. This included; hiring and training the managing brokers, recruiting 20+ agents, finding a suitable office, and furnishing it, before the branch office was to open. From 2011 to 2016 Margaret grew Cherry Creek Properties, LLC from 5 offices to 20 offices. The company grew to around 1200 agents.
While opening new offices, Margaret opened the Cherry Creek Properties Real Estate School and helped set up and manage a large mentoring program. Margaret was the designated managing broker for the managing brokers in the corporate office when they were on vacation or unavailable. Margaret also worked the compliance department, among many other tasks. From 2016 to 2018 Margaret continued to sell real estate.
All this experience led to Margaret opening Colorado Real Estate Shop, LLC. (2018 to current). This is a much smaller office with specialty agents trained to accomplish meeting the needs and goals of our clients. We offer custom service for every client using top negotiation skills and real estate knowledge.
